Dataset for suction-induced strains in intact rocks

This dataset is part of the GEOMIMIC project, funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe Research and Innovation programme, which aims to improve carbon storage and mineralization efficiency in fractured mafic reservoirs. It combines a synthesis of published data with new experimental results, including water retention curves, nuclear magnetic resonance NMR measurements and strain data acquired during wetting and drying. The dataset explores the mechanical implications of mixed-fluid conditions in rocks.
