Description

The purpose of this research is to determine how the performance of PT. Indomarco Prismatama Palembang employes correlates with their work-life balance. Quantitative methods were used in this study, employing simple regression. The subjects of the study are 145 staff members. The results of the data analysis show a positive and highly significant relationship between work-life balance and employe performance (R = 0.535; p = 0.000 < 0.01). The coefficient of determination (R2) value of 0.286 indicates that work-life balance contributes effectively 28.6% to employe performance, while other factors outside the study influence 71.4%. Descriptive results show that the majority of workers have a high performance level (65.5%) and a good work-life balance (53.1%). The results indicate that productivity, motivation, and employes' readiness to complete tasks are influenced by the balance between personal and work life. The results of this study support previous findings that organizational support and work-life balance improve an individual's mental health and performance. Therefore, the research hypothesis that there is a positive relationship between employe performance and work-life balance can be accepted.
