Description

This study reports the development of a high-efficiency, markerless and iterative genome editing tool for Shouchella clausii, a Gram-positive bacterium with applications in biotherapeutics and biotechnology. The authors designed a versatile genetic platform based on a temperature-sensitive shuttle vector compatible with Golden Gate assembly, enabling precise and scarless modifications that greatly expand the genetic engineering capabilities in S. clausii and related species.
