MAP Knowledge Management Strategy for the Mediterranean Sea

This presentation was delivered during the last INFO/RAC National Focal Point meeting, held in Palermo (Italy) the 20-21 of May, 2025. The presentation discovers insights of the upcoming UNEP/MAP Knowledge Management Strategy for approval from INFO/RAC NFPs, indicates implementing tools (KMaP and the Data Policy) and introduces indexes to measure KMS state of application. Finally, it shows a practical example of application of the strategy, starting from the verification of the compliance with the UNEP/MAP Data Policy of a possible dataset to be published on the KMaP, and detailing the subsequent procedure of data preparation and sharing for dissemination.
