Analysis of mechanical properties of bio(nano)composites
Authors/Creators
Description
The diploma thesis focuses on the analysis of the mechanical properties of bio(nano)composites based on the biodegradable polymer polybutylene succinate (PBS) and its composite reinforced with carbon nanotubes (CNT). The work was carried out within the framework of Task 1.2 of WP1 of the PROMATAI project. The theoretical part provides an overview of biodegradable polymers, commonly used bioplastics, and their applications across various industrial sectors. The experimental part focuses on the measurement of hardness and tensile properties of samples made from pure PBS and PBS/CNT_0.5, using standardized testing methods. In addition, the material structure was analysed using scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
