Description

The abstract analyses how the Czech CAP Strategic Plan (2023–2027) can strengthen climate resilience while maintaining farm competitiveness. Using the GLOBIOM model, it provides ex-ante impact assessments (to 2030 and 2050) of CAP interventions under climate change, highlighting synergies and trade-offs between environmental goals (e.g., biodiversity/resource efficiency) and market outcomes. It also discusses how CAP payments and GAEC conditionalities influence incentives and competitiveness compared to other Member States, underscoring the value of robust evidence to inform policy design.
