In regards to the effect on performance, location and size drive delivery speed, transportation cost, inventory costs, and customer service levels. Having good location placement with the right sizing can increase customer satisfaction and profit. On the other hand, bad investment decisions can lead to raised fixed and variable costs and reduce operational flexibility.
