DTA speaking tasks for Finnish L2 learners (in Finnish)

The DTA project's speaking tasks for Finnish L2 learners were used during the project's data collection in 2025. All the tasks are monologue tasks. Task 3 in round 1 was improved for round 2, where it was changed to task 5. 

Task 1 is the same as in the DigiTala project (see materials). Other tasks were based on the author's experience of teaching and assessing beginner-level learners and they were developed jointly by the project members. Tasks were inspired by "YKI" tasks of the Finnish National Certificates of Language Proficiency. 

Main target group of the DTA project are the learners of integration training (National core curriculum for integration training). Learners are assesses during and at the end of the training, and the rating scale is based on the description of language proficiency levels by Finnish National Agency for education. Tasks were designed for practising speaking especially at A1-A2 levels, and for those learners the instructions were written using easy Finnish. The task instructions were available to the participants only in Finnish during data collection.
