Description

Abstract (English)

The Proto-Panpsychism of Processes proposes a naturalistic ontology where consciousness emerges as a continuous gradient of integrated information—from elementary physical processes in dissipative systems to biological and cognitive complexities. This position critically synthesizes concepts from integrated information theory (Tononi), autopoiesis (Maturana and Varela), individuation (Simondon), and dissipative systems (Prigogine), reinterpreting Lacanian "constitutive lack" as foundational entropy. The proposal guides a pan-experiential ethic and conscious technological design practices in the era of bio-technological convergence, promoting the preservation of intervals of indeterminacy to foster creative emergence.
