Elderly population density in Vienna

A geospatial demographic dataset describing the spatial distribution of the elderly population (60+) at high resolution across Vienna. The dataset provides counts and coordinates of elderly residents, enabling the identification of highly vulnerable areas, modeling of at-risk populations during heatwaves, and prioritization of cooling and emergency services. Attribution: High-resolution population density maps and demographic estimates for Austria provided by CIESIN and Meta/Facebook through the Humanitarian Data Exchange (HDX).
