Description
The United Nations Framwork Classification for Resources (UNFC) is a principle-based system to classify mineral and energy projects based on their maturity level and to communicate production forecasts. This reports focuses on production forecasts of recycling projects. It builds on existing UNFC documents and aims to build a common understanding to determine the degree of confidence (DoC) in the estimate of production forecasts. An example on the classification of a plastic recycling project consideres alternative options to define the DoC and explains their meaning to bring more clarity for UNFC practitioners and end-users.
