Worüber wird berichtet - zur medialen Debatte um Kinderbetreuung in systemrelevanten Berufen in Österreich und Deutschland

In this paper we discuss how print media in Austria and Germany reported about care obligations and reconciliation strategies of people working in essential jobs compared to those in home offices, using web scraping and topic modeling for data collection and analysis. 

The findings show that public media have a role in hightlighting the needs of divers societal groups to inform policy making.
