DPP4EU Conference Abstract Booklet
Description
The DPP4EU-25 was dedicated to digitalization, Digital Product Passport (DPPs) and management of materials, product information & data as a tool to support sustainability, and circularity.
The conference had been designed as a clustering event and as a forum for experts from European-funded initiatives related to DPP developments. Open questions and the exchange of insights regarding DPPs’ technical implementation, the role of IT infrastructures, implications for digitalization of manufacturing, correlations with Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) frameworks, and digital business models were discussed in 7 technical sessions, a poster session, a Panel Discussion on the “DPP and Material Digitalization Future” and an Open Microphone session. The event addressed topics relevant to multiple European Commission DGs: DG RTD, DG CNECT, DG GROW, and DG ENVI, and representatives from all these DGs actively participated in the conference
