Description

Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are highly persistent contaminants widely used in industrial applications for their chemical and thermal stability. Their resistance to degradation leads to bioaccumulation in living organisms and potential long-term health risks, including endocrine, immune, and metabolic effects.
