PPIE in ICEP - sharing learning and maximising impact
Authors/Creators
Description
How can Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) be most effectively implemented in complex, non-clinical epidemiological research programmes?
The Integrative Cancer Epidemiology Programme (ICEP) uses statistical methods and genetic data to generate insights for cancer prevention, early detection, and treatment targeting. PPIE is well-established in clinical research but remains uncommon in non-clinical medical research.
This poster shares learning and reflections from PPIE work within this five-year, non-clinical cancer research programme.
