Bu proje, havalimanlarında bagaj taşıma sürecinde ekonomik verimliliği artırmak, zaman kaybını azaltmak ve insan gücüne olan ihtiyacı minimize etmek amacıyla geliştirilen otonom bir robottur. Gömülü sistem tasarımı dersi kapsamında Python programlama dili ile geliştirilen sistemde, PiBorg MonsterBorg robotu kullanılmıştır. Robotun hareketi dört tekerlekli bir yapı ile sağlanmakta olup, motor kontrolü L298N motor sürücüsü aracılığıyla gerçekleştirilmektedir. Robot, temel olarak ileri, geri ve durma hareketlerini gerçekleştirebilmekte; üzerine entegre edilen kamera ile çevrede yer alan QR kodlarını algılayarak sağa ve sola dönüş hareketlerini yerine getirebilmektedir. Fiziksel sistemde; Raspberry Pi 3 B+, DC motorlar, L298N motor sürücüsü, 12V 3S Li-Po batarya, çeşitli bağlantı kabloları ve 3 boyutlu yazıcıyla üretilmiş koruyucu bir kapak kullanılmıştır. Geliştirilen sistem, fiziksel testlerde yön tayinini başarıyla gerçekleştirerek otonom hareket kabiliyetini ortaya koymuştur.

Abstract (English)

This project is an autonomous robot developed to increase economic efficiency, reduce time loss, and minimize the need for manpower in baggage handling at airports. The system, developed using the Python programming language as part of an embedded systems design course, utilized the PiBorg MonsterBorg robot. The robot's movement is provided by a four-wheeled structure, and the motor is controlled by an L298N motor driver. The robot can primarily perform forward, backward, and stop movements. It can also detect QR codes in the environment with an integrated camera, enabling it to turn left and right. The physical system comprises a Raspberry Pi 3 B+, DC motors, an L298N motor driver, a 12V 3S Li-Po battery, various connection cables, and a protective cover produced with a 3D printer. The developed system successfully demonstrated its autonomous movement capability by performing orientation determination in physical tests.
