Description
This booklet outlines the implementation pathways and outcomes of nine Pilot studies conducted as part of the Horizon Europe project GraspOS, aimed at advancing Responsible Research Assessment (RRA) and supporting Open Science across the European Research Area.
The project's main output is an EOSC-integrated, open and federated infrastructure that aggregates resources for research assessment, including tools and services, to support and facilitate policy reforms in research assessment.
The nine Pilots explored and tested Open Science–aware indicators, tools, and assessment practices across three contexts: funding agencies, universities, and disciplinary communities. Collaborative experimentation enabled the Pilots to co-design assessment protocols that consider Open Science, develop researcher and organisational Openness Profiles, identify infrastructure and service needs, and articulate local and community requirements for research assessment.
In this booklet, you’ll find concise narratives that highlight the activities and findings of each Pilot study.
