Effects of Carbon/Nitrogen Ratios on Anaerobic Phosphorus Release from Marine Sediments
Authors/Creators
Description
This dataset includes chemical and microbial data collected during 24-day anaerobic incubations designed to evaluate how different carbon/nitrogen ratios influence phosphorus release from marine sediments. Acetic acid and glucose were used as carbon sources across four nitrogen-loading conditions, including a control without NH4-N addition. Time-series measurements of dissolved phosphorus, VFA production, and microbial community composition (16S rRNA sequencing) were obtained throughout the incubation period. This dataset can be used to assess nutrient stoichiometry effects and microbial mechanisms driving sediment phosphorus release under anaerobic conditions.
