Final Validation of Timing performance of common productions

Description

This deliverable summarises the validation activities carried out within AIDAinnova WP6 on advanced timing-detector technologies developed in common productions at FBK and CNM. The work covers the electrical, laser-based, and beam-test characterisation of 3D pixel sensors, TI-LGADs and iLGADs, fabricated with different geometries and process options. The studies performed in this report form the basis for identifying promising design and process directions for future optimisation, and they provide the technical framework for the continuation of sensor-timing R&D in DRD3 and related detector-development programmes.
