Wenn über die sozio-ökonomische Entwicklung in Gebieten abseits städtischer Agglomerationen nachgedacht wird, wird der Beitrag der Kleinen Ländlichen Unternehmen zur lokalen Resilienz oft übersehen. Sie bieten jedoch sowohl im Hinblick auf die Schaffung von Arbeitsplätzen als auch bei der Bereitstellung von Gütern und Dienstleistungen ein vielfältiges Angebot. In diesem Beitrag wird eine Untersuchung vorgestellt, die sich mit der Bedeutung der Kleinen Ländlichen Unternehmen, ihrer Struktur und ihren Herausforderungen in der Pilotregion Nockregion-Oberkärnten auseinandersetzt. Dazu werden statistische Sekundärdaten analysiert sowie eine online Befragung mit Unternehmen vorgestellt.
Abstract (English)
When considering socio-economic development in areas outside urban agglomerations, the contribution of small rural businesses to local resilience is often overlooked. However, they offer a diverse range of goods and services, both in terms of job creation and provision. This article presents a study that examines the importance of small rural businesses, their structure, and their challenges in the pilot region of Nockregion-Oberkärnten.
