D1.3 Training Week 1 'Understanding open data as an ecosystem'

The overall objective of Training Week 1 was to get ESRs acquainted with sectoral and disciplinary perspective and practices on open data (research). The programme thus aimed to stimulate collaboration both between the ESRs, but also between ESRs and external partners such as organisations and industry with an open data focus.
The objectives of the week were also to support the ESRs in gaining an interdisciplinary perspective through training with focus on interdisciplinary learning and research concepts, approaches/ methods, and activities of the open data ecosystem taught by project beneficiaries. The third objective was to provide professional skills training in research/ education ethics and professional integrity, team working, group dynamics and in organising (public) events. Finally, the objective was to engage ESRs in an outreach event with round table discussion with relevant stakeholders.
