Advancing evaluation of the Multi-actor approach (MAA)

The report, prepared by the PREMIERE project, is based on the results of the Focus Group “Advancing evaluation of the multi-actor approach (MAA)” conducted between December 2024 and April 2025, in collaboration with the European Commission. The Focus Group focused on MAA evaluation in Horizon Europe Cluster 6, but it is acknowledged that these recommendations should be extended to, and further developed for, Horizon Mission Soil, Horizon Partnerships, and others (e.g. PRIMA-MED).

The report presents the context, recommendations and support materials to strengthen the Multi-Actor Approach (MAA) within Horizon Europe by improving its evaluation. Clarity and consistency for the MAA are fundamental principles in this process.
