FIGURE 20. Cladogram detail showing character optimization for Scirites and its sister clade. White boxes indicates ambiguous changes and black boxes unambiguous ones. The presence of 7 megaspines on the male metatarsi (character 177) is a synapomorphy for Scirites found without homoplasy.
