Below-canopy forestry pointcloud datasets (ROS1)
Description
Below-canopy datasets of forest plots near Aas, Norway. Data collected in Oct/Nov 2024. Data gathered using ROS1, with a Livox MID360 Sensor and a GNSS module.
PCD files are assembled using the spade-pgo SLAM and pose graph optimization library: https://gitlab.eclipse.org/eclipse-research-labs/spade-project/opencall-1/olympian/spade-pgo.
Datasets are about 10 minutes long each, and are designed to aid in the testing and validation of below-canopy SLAM.
Three datasets are:
