Content of Umma: A Literary Magazine from the University of Dar es Salaam, 1970 – 1976

Umma: A Literary Magazine from the University of Dar es Salaam emerged out of the former student magazine Darlite, founded in 1966 at the Department of Literature of the University of East Africa. 

The data collected in this dataset has been transcribed from physical copies of Umma housed at the Nordic Africa Institute Library in Uppsala, Sweden. Volume 6, number 1 was not included in the physical collection and the dataset is, therefore, not to be considered complete.
