Description
This report presents probabilistic methods developed under Task T1.3 of the Reincarnate project, aimed at lifecycle assessment and prediction of buildings and construction products. The proposed framework integrates automated detection using IoT sensors, probabilistic modeling with techniques such as Markov Chains and Bayesian Networks, and advanced machine learning algorithms to predict material durability and potential degradation risks.
These predictive tools enhance stakeholders' ability to make informed decisions on maintenance, upgrade, reuse, or recycling of building components. The integration of these methodologies into the Circular Potential Information Management (CP-IM) platform ensures comprehensive lifecycle management and contributes significantly to sustainable construction practices within the European industry.
