AWARD Project Leaflet - Demo Case 3: Cyprus

This leaflet presents the third demo case of the AWARD project, located in the Ammochostos district of Cyprus. The project focuses on optimizing water reuse in Paralimni and Agia Napa through an upgraded wastewater treatment plant (WWTP). The upgraded system addresses water scarcity by storing reclaimed water for agricultural use, public spaces, and irrigation. AWARD’s solution minimizes energy consumption and helps enhance the resilience of the local water supply, contributing to sustainable water management in the region.
