Revitalizing Sanskrit as a Catalyst for Cultural, Economic, and Scientific Advancement: A Comprehensive National Integration Strategy

This research proposes a holistic, multi-sectoral strategy to revitalize Sanskrit as a living instrument of cultural identity and innovation in 21st-century India. Unlike preservationist approaches, this framework emphasizes systematic integration of Sanskrit into modern technological, economic, and educational systems. The novelty of this concept lies in treating Sanskrit not merely as a heritage language but as a structural asset for computational linguistics, cybersecurity design, wellness industries, and cultural education. These domains have rarely been brought together under a unified national strategy.

The framework identifies five core pillars: establishment of a Sanskrit AI Laboratory for computational linguistics, exploration of phonetic structures for cryptographic design, development of wellness hubs drawing on classical Ayurvedic knowledge in combination with modern quality standards, integration of Vedic astronomical principles into educational outreach for space science, and deployment of digital cultural platforms to re-engage youth.

Rather than projecting fixed economic figures, the strategy positions Sanskrit as a catalyst for new cultural industries, enhanced global soft power, and expanded opportunities in wellness and education sectors. The contribution of this work lies in providing a replicable model for language-based innovation ecosystems that connect indigenous knowledge with contemporary needs.
