Description

The FAIR-EASE project implementation plan aims to meet the needs and challenges related to the
discovery, access, (re-)analysis and sharing of Earth System data, starting from consideration of
requirements from pilots from three specific Use Cases (UCs) in the project, as described in D5.1. A
set  of  potentially  relevant  technical  solutions  were  considered  throughout  the  project,  in  part
implemented as general services by experts contributing to technical workpackages (WPs) and part
contributed  by  technical  experts  within  each  pilot,  in  strong  connection  and  collaboration.  A
detailed  reminder  of  the  context  and  general  architecture  of  the  FAIR-EASE  technical
implementation plan is provided in D3.2.

Here we report on the specific implementations of the five  different pilots in FAIR EASE that tackled
Real Life Challenges in different scientific domains and also about transdomain interactions that
occurred in the project.
