Self-Perceived Health Status and Medical Check-Up Frequency Dataset – MYNUTRI Pilot
Description
This dataset was compiled as part of the MYNUTRI pilot within the European FOODITY project, which promotes citizen empowerment in managing personal food and health data through ethical and transparent digital solutions.
The dataset contains anonymised survey responses from adult participants in Spain regarding their self-perceived health status, frequency of medical check-ups and dietary restrictions due to health conditions. It includes variables such as:
- Gender, age range, education level, and occupation
- Type of city of residence and perceived financial situation
- Self-assessed health status (scale 1–10)
- Frequency of medical check-ups (e.g. monthly, annually, only when needed)
- Presence of dietary restrictions due to diagnosed health conditions
The data was collected via structured questionnaires and is intended to support research in public health, personalised nutrition, and ethical data governance in the food and healthcare sectors.
