Description

The present data deposited in this repository relates to all the data collected during the whole genome sequencing experiments related to the publication of the article entitled: "Ciprofloxacin Resistance Enhances Biofilm Formation and Modulates Virulence in Acinetobacter baumannii: Insights into the Role of Efflux Pumps and Quorum Sensing."In this research work, a ciprofloxacin-resistant isogenic bacterium (A. baumannii CipR) was obtained from a susceptible bacterium (A. baumannii CipS), with the aim of characterizing its resistance and evaluating its biofilm formation capacity. The data presented here relate to the sequenced genomes of A. baumannii CipS and A. baumannii CipR.
