PerioCream® as an Adjunct to Scaling and Root Planing: Results from the CIP 2025 Observational Clinical Investigation Integrating Patient-Centered Outcomes and AI Validation
Creators
Description
This report presents the results of the CIP 2025 observational clinical investigation evaluating PerioCream® as an adjunct to scaling and root planing (SRP) in the treatment of periodontal inflammation. The study included clinical outcomes (bleeding on probing, gingival index), patient-reported outcomes (VAS, HRQL), and clinician-reported observations. Supplementary data include representative clinical cases and visual validation.
The findings support the adjunctive use of PerioCream® in improving gingival conditions after SRP, with evidence consistent across clinical measures and patient-reported feedback. This report integrates results from previous randomized controlled trials (2014) and case series (2016), and expands the clinical evidence base with observational real-world data.
The document is deposited in the Nitradine–PerioCream Zenodo Community to ensure transparency, accessibility, and compliance with MDR standards for clinical evaluation.
