Dataset for the study "Distinct Neural Dynamics in Joint versus Side-by-Side Actions: Insights from Dual EEG"

The present dataset contains individual data from 40 participants (20 dyads) and consists of:

• BEHAVIORAL DATA (BehaviouralData_DualEEG_Final.xlsx): 

Column A: Dyad number

Column B: Participant Number

Column C: Player position: 1 = red (left), 2 = green (right)

Column D: Mean accuracy for joint action

Column E: Mean accuracy for parallel action

Column F: Mean reaction time for joint action

Column G: Mean reaction time for parallel action

Column H: Mean reaction time variability (standard deviation) for joint action

Column I: Mean reaction time variability (standard deviation) for parallel action

• ELECTROENCEPHALOGRAPHIC (EEG) data, divided by condition:

Parallel: AVGS_CNV_Paral.mat

Joint: AVGS_CNV_Joint.mat

The EEG data contains the average over trials obtained from the preprocessing, as described in the paper, for each subject. Subjects are in the same order as in behavioral data.
