Description
This project aims to solve the problems of low efficiency of material distribution, resource asymmetry and information opacity when floods occur. When floods occur, it is often difficult for the affected areas to obtain the required materials in time, and some areas get excess materials instead. To this end, we developed a mobile application built with Flutter and used Django as the backend service platform to implement a disaster material donation and management system. After registering and logging in, users use the system to provide material classification, state and city filtering functions to view the materials needed by each disaster area and donate to the target disaster area. This system also displays the user's current location through Google Maps and guides to the nearest shelter. Data interaction is achieved through REST API, and user identity is locally persisted through Shared Preferences. This system not only improves the efficiency of flood relief resource allocation, but also promotes collaboration between the government and public welfare organizations to prevent uneven distribution of materials. In terms of commercialization, the system can be expanded into a government and enterprise cooperation platform, integrating warehousing, logistics and volunteer scheduling, and even providing B2B disaster response solutions, with strong market application potential.
