Abstract (English)
LQL-Equiv – Open-Source Software for Biologically Equivalent Dose Computation in Radiotherapy
LQL-Equiv** is a standalone scientific software designed to compute biologically equivalent doses (BED and EQD2) in external beam radiotherapy.
It is based on the Linear Quadratic Linear (LQL) model, and includes corrections for time factors such as repair, repopulation, and protraction.
This tool is intended for radiation oncologists, medical physicists, researchers, and educators. It is currently used in over 20 countries.
