Abstract
This policy guide synthesizes current knowledge on health integration within UNFCCC climate negotiations, providing practical frameworks for public health engagement at COP30 and beyond. Through systematic analysis of health advocacy strategies from COP21-COP29, expert consultations, and review of health-climate policy frameworks across Latin America, this resource equips researchers and practitioners with evidence-based tools for influencing climate policy. Key contributions include: (1) step-by-step navigation of UNFCCC processes, (2) practical advocacy strategies for NDC health integration, (3) frameworks for demonstrating health co-benefits of climate action, and (4) partnership models for municipal government collaboration. Available in three languages to support regional implementation across the Americas.
