Digital Pilot Projects

This report presents the digital pilot projects developed in Build-in-Wood. The projects have been developed in close collaboration with the Early Adopter Cities.

In total, 8 digital pilots projects have been developed. The Build-in-Wood building system has been developed and optimised for multi-storey buildings, however, the developed pilot projects showcase the flexibility and the potential of the Build-in-Wood system to adapt to a range of building typologies and end-user needs. The workflow with the Early Adoptor Cities were described in the 2nd periodic report (Task 3.4). Each project was developed based on a series of workshops and discussions with the Early Adopter Cities including site visits and investigations to get a full understanding of the needs of the building owners and end-users. All pilot projects were developed with the potential for post project implementation in mind.
