Description
This dataset comprises data extracted from studies included in the meta-analysis conducted for the systematic review entitled “Is moderate beer consumption associated with poor dietary and biochemical parameters of nutritional status in adults?”
Studies that lacked sufficient data for inclusion in the meta-analysis were analysed descriptively and are not part of this dataset. To ensure comparability across studies, some variables were standardised, including unit conversions for energy and nutrient intake, as detailed in the methods section of the article.
All data were obtained from publicly available published sources, which are fully cited in the original publication.
This dataset is associated with the article published in Food & Function (DOI: 10.1039/d5fo01788b).
