Description

This report focusses on the implementation of the CNOSOS noise prediction methodology within the Equal‐Life project. The intention of this document is to provide an overview of the metrics and data required in the context of open‐source applications (i.e. harmonised between countries), including open street maps (OSM), meteorological data, and land cover. This principle extends to implementation of the modelling in freely available software. The intention is to provide an approach which accessible to all areas of interest in the Equal‐Life project and the European Human Exposome Network (EHEN) of projects. An aspect of the innovation in noise modelling here is providing a user‐friendly account of the approach to noise modelling in an epidemiologic context via open data where possible.
