Description
We present FLOWBra (Future Lines Of Water in Brazil), a comprehensive dataset of simulated daily streamflow for 714 Brazilian catchments, based on climate projections from 10 CMIP6 GCMs/ESMs. Simulations cover both the historical period (1980–2013) and the future (2015–2100), under two shared socioecomomic pathways: SSP2-4.5 and SSP5-8.5. The data are provided in comma-separated values (.csv) format. Streamflow simulations were performed using the GR4J hydrological model (modèle du Génie Rural à 4 paramètres Journalier ; Perrin et al., 2003), with model parameters derived from Andrade et al. (2024). All catchments included in FLOWBra are part of the CABra dataset (Catchment Attributes for Brazil). Climate inputs, including precipitation and reference evapotranspiration (estimated using the Penman-Monteith method), were obtained from the CLIMBra – Climate Change Dataset for Brazil (Ballarin et al., 2023). FLOWBra is intended to support research on hydrological processes, climate change impacts, and water resources management across Brazil.
