REAPER Automatic Parameter Sweep and Render
Description
This repository contains two REAPER scripts designed to automate plugin parameter sweeps and export multiple audio versions. They support use cases where controlled variations of audio material are required, such as in listening tests, sound design, or audio education.
These tools help avoid repetitive manual work by rendering each version automatically based on defined parameter steps.
They were originally designed during the research project Enhancing Audio Description II, led by Mariana López, and developed as part of a subproject at the School of Physics, Engineering and Technology, University of York, under the supervision of Gavin Kearney and Michael McLoughlin.
Included:
-
show_parameters_v03.lua
Lists all plugin parameters for the first FX on Track 1 to help identify which parameter to automate. -
auto_export_v_03.lua
Sweeps a selected parameter across a defined range and renders each step, saving each version as a separate file.
Also included:
-
README.txt with usage instructions
-
A short video showing the script in use
