Transformative Pedagogy is an approach to teaching that aims to create a more inclusive, equitable and just learning environment for student teachers in a college of Education, this approach can be particularly powerful in preparing them to become effective educators. This approach emphasizes the importance of student teacher’s self-awareness, moral values, and autonomy in their teaching practices. This study explores the concept of transformative pedagogy and its application in teacher education programs. This study investigates the impact of transformative pedagogy on student teachers professional development and teaching practice in a college of Education. A mixed methods approach is used, combining surveys, interviews, and classroom observations. The findings suggest that transformative pedagogy has a positive impact on student teachers critical thinking, reaction, and social justice awareness, leading to improved teaching practices and professional development.
