Description

Here are the slides from the recent webinar “Standardisation Activities in the Cognitive Computing Continuum,” featuring seven Horizon Europe projects: HYPER-AI, INTEND, EMPYREAN, ENACT, MYRTUS, Swarmchestrate, and CoGNETs.

During the session, the projects presented innovative approaches for managing computing resources across the entire continuum, from IoT and edge devices to central cloud infrastructures. By leveraging Swarm computing and AI-driven automation, they are advancing dynamic and efficient resource allocation.

The cluster’s work focuses on energy-efficient and trustworthy data processing at the edge, supported by intelligent orchestration mechanisms capable of handling large data volumes and ensuring scalability. Key priorities include autonomous management, distributed machine learning, end-to-end security, and interoperability grounded in open standards — all in alignment with the goals of the European Partnership on AI, Data, and Robotics.
