Mode Identification in KPD 1943+4058 in Kepler Data
Description
We present a new analysis of Kepler short-cadence data (Q2.3, Q5-Q17.2) of KPD 1943+4058, also known as KIC 5807616, KOI-55, and Kepler-70. We extracted pulsation modes with our tool FELIX (Charpinet et al. 2010, Zong et al. 2016) based on the standard prewhitening technique. After having identified regular spacings through Kolmogorov-Smirnov tests, we tried to identify g-modes pulsations based on several criteria: longest chain of consecutive degree l=1 and degree l=2 modes ; best overlap between l=1 l=2 modes in terms of reduced periods, best overlap between l=1 and l=2 modes in terms of reduced period spacings. Several plausible mode identification emerged, with and without trapped modes. Most of the modes are identified as l=1 and l=2 this way, but higher degree modes are also possible and a few modes are left unidentified.
