Potential training needs for the implementation and transposition of the Soil Monitoring Law (SML)

This document was developed under Task 5.4 of the PREPSOIL project (Capacity building for improved monitoring knowledge base) and outlines potential training needs to support the implementation and transposition of the Soil Monitoring Law (SML) across the EU. It proposes key thematic areas for training, including legal and regulatory frameworks, soil monitoring and sampling, digital tools, and public communication. The document also presents a draft curriculum addressing soil indicators and the evolving European regulatory context. It aims to serve as a reference for future capacity-building initiatives.
