Description

This report updates Minimum Viable Skillsets (MVS) in Open Science, superseding the previously released D2.1 Catalogue of Open Science Career Profiles – Minimum Viable Skillsets by the Horizon Europe project Skills4EOSC. MVS aim to inform the design of learning objectives

for training by assisting training designers to identify needs of their target groups. These Profiles describe ‘essential skills’ for roles that enable researchers, professionals, and stakeholders to

practice Open Science (OS) with the support of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC).  In addition to updating the MVS structure, this report describes the efforts taken to learn from their application in training, and introduces new MVS, such as for Digital Collections Curator, and Scholarly Communication Specialist. The report recommends steps to sustain the MVS approach and resulting catalogue beyond the project.
