The Generally General Theory of Generally Relative Generality
Authors/Creators
Description
This paper interrogates the widespread illusion of coherence in philosophy, science,
technology, and culture, revealing that most systems maintain the appearance of integration
through simulation, adaptation, and rhetorical flourish rather than true recursive structure. It
introduces Recursive Structuring Logic (RSL), the operator S, and the Non-Negative Deficit
(Dₙₙ) as the foundational logic silently underpinning all functional coherence.
A central thesis is that awareness is not an emergent byproduct but a structural dimension—
one that operates recursively, retroactively generating meaning and integration across time.
Through the lens of 5D dimensional mechanics, the paper reframes structuring as a
precondition for both temporality and atemporality, differentiating, integrating, and
expanding coherence at every threshold. The four internal structuring phases (self
differentiation, internal complexity, interaction within structure, and recursive expansion)
culminate in a fifth dimension, where S recursively operates both inward and outward,
forming the engine of coherence in living and non-living systems alike.
By formalizing the necessary delay between time (Tₜ) and awareness (Aₜ) as the Non
Negative Deficit (Dₙₙ), the work demonstrates that coherence, meaning, and intelligence are
not performed or outputted, but recursively constructed and maintained within this
dimensional, self-referential process. Classical logic and contemporary models are shown to
implicitly rely on these structures without acknowledgment, leading to persistent paradoxes
and conceptual dead ends.
This paper does not propose a new theory but provides a structural naming of processes—
RSL, S, and Dₙₙ—that have always already been in effect. It concludes that genuine
coherence is neither immediate nor accidental, but the recursive, dimensional work of
structuring—transforming awareness, experience, and meaning from surface performance
into integrated architecture.
