Description

ENVRI-Hub NEXT is a Horizon Europe project designed to transform European environmental research. Our mission is to empower the ENVRI Science Cluster, a network of leading environmental Research Infrastructures (ENVRI RIs), to provide seamless, interdisciplinary services for tackling critical challenges like climate change and ecosystem loss. Harnessing the Potential of Data: We aim to unlock the full potential of data collected by ENVRI RIs. By facilitating easy access and interoperability across subdomains (Atmosphere, Marine, Solid Earth, Biodiversity/Ecosystems). Guiding Light - Essential Variables (EVs): The project is guided by the science-based framework of EVs, a set of critical measurements essential for monitoring climate change and its impacts. Integration is Key: ENVRI-Hub NEXT champions the integration of ENVRI RIs. By fostering collaboration and synergies, we will provide researchers with a unified platform, enabling them to conduct cross-disciplinary research. User-driven Development Approach: Through the ENVRI-Hub User Group, we provide a collaborative channel for researchers, data scientists, and environmental professionals to help shape the development of the ENVRI-Hub. Members have the opportunity to test new tools, provide feedback, define training needs, and contribute to the growth of ENVRI-Hub services.
