ToxValDB v9.6.2 Data Release

Description

Versioned release of ToxValDB v9.6.2 in XLSX and MySQL dump file format with associated documentation.

The U.S. EPA’s Toxicity Values Database, ToxValDB, is a large compilation of human health-relevant toxicology data, including experimental in vivo hazard and dose-response toxicity data, derived toxicity values, and guideline values. ToxValDB provides summary level data in a standardized format across many individual datasets. The harmonized in vivo data within ToxValDB have many applications including chemical screening and prioritization for human health risk assessment, modeling predictions, and benchmarking for New Approach Methods (NAMs). The primary database fields include quantitative dose-response summary or toxicity reference values and associated metadata (e.g., health effects, study design parameters), to yield a set of computable data. The ToxValDB v9.6.2 contains 243,155 records covering 41,772 chemicals (34,644 with defined chemical structure) from 38 sources (57 source tables). For a detailed description of database development, see Wall et al. 2025 (DOI 10.1016/j.comtox.2025.100365).
