Appendix S1. Individual posterior probability distribution of breeding and molting origin for birds captured during the winter at Imperial Valley (California, USA). Label code: YR01 = sampling year 2001; YR02 = sampling year 2002; YR03 = sampling year 2003; YR04 = sampling year 2004. Digits added after YR01-, YR02-, YR03-, and YR04-, represent individual ID for each year and age class (‘adult’ or ‘juv’ = juvenile, as indicated in each label prefix).

 

Appendix S2. Sample ID, age class, δ²H values from feathers, and year of collection at the wintering ground (Imperial County, California, USA).
